Reservations can also be made by calling (800) 228-9290 or (817) 961-0800.  When calling  to make reservation, mention "Showdown N Cowtown" to get the discounted rate of $79.00/night plus state and local taxes (currently 15%). The last day to make reservation will be on Friday, July 31, 2009. The hotel will transport you to the race track. Rates are good Saturday and Sunday nights.

Open at 7:00 am for skaters to register and pick up packets. Track open for warm up from 7:00 am to 7:30 am.

The Course:  A one mile rally track on the infield of the Texas Motor Speedway.

The Marathon:  Half Marathon is 13 laps and Full Marathon is 26 laps.

Open to all skaters: Recreational Skaters, Quad Skaters, and Inline Skaters

Half Marathon and open Full Marathon - Race starts approx. at 10:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm

Pro and Pro Master skaters - Race starts at 8:00 am.

Half Marathon: $30 before July 31, 2009 and $40 August 1, through August 21, 2009. Full Marathon/Pro: $50 before July 31, 2009 and $60 August 1 to August 21, 2009. Registration on day of event: $80 for full marathon and $60 half marathon

Half Marathon: Age divisions: 1st-3rd, trophy for 1st place and medals for 2nd and 3rd places. Full Marathon: Age divisions: 1st-3rd, trophy for 1st place and medals for 2nd and 3rd places Pro and Pro Masters: Cash Purse (TBD), trophy and medals for 1st - 3rd places

Participant Packet (T- shirt, goodies, timing, etc), course support (aid stations, EMS, etc), food and beverages for skater after event.

You are always welcome to bring in your own food and beverages -- NO GLASS

Helmets and wrist guards are mandatory. Knee and elbow pads are recommended. Inline skates and quads only. NO rollerskis, ski poles, skateboards, strollers, bandits, bikes, automobiles, or pets. Headphone use is prohibited. ABSOLUTELY NO GLASS IS TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE SPEEDWAY. Don't forget the sunscreen!

The Temperature:  It's August in Texas.  It will be HOT!
